The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) held its first Bite-Sized Learning session on Sunday evening, May 17, on Facebook Live with OAFP member and American Academy of Family Physicians Alternate Delegate Ryan Kauffman, MD, FAAFP. Dr. Kauffman led the session by sharing his rapid transition to telemedicine at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and how he then turned that into credit towards his American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) Family Medicine Certification requirements through the new ABFM COVID-19 Self-Directed pathway.
The full version of OAFP’s first bite-sized learning session is available on the new Bite-Sized Learning webpage.
The OAFP plans to host future 30-minute learning sessions on Sunday evenings (as we have speakers and topics), beginning at 8 p.m. Members can join the conversation by logging on to the OAFP Facebook page to watch live.
We look forward to providing an opportunity for members to come together during a time when connecting and learning from each other is crucial. Keep an eye out for OAFP communications for additional topics and opportunities for bite-sized learning.
