Many ILDs go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed because the symptoms are often confused for other, more common respiratory diseases such as asthma or COPD. ILD can also slowly worsen over time. Today, the OhioPHP assists hundreds of healthcare workers across the state with a wide range of concerns including stress, burnout, mental health, substance use disorders (SUD), and much more!
The OhioPHP has partnered with the State Medical Board of Ohio (SMBO) to administer the Confidential Monitoring Program (CMP). The CMP is a brand new program for licensees of the SMBO who may be struggling with mental health disorders, SUD, or other medical conditions.
