The OAFP Foundation invites you to A Sweet Celebration of Legacy and Leadership, a special reception honoring the mentors, students, alumni, donors, and champions who have made the Leroy A. Rodgers, MD, Preceptorship Program a national award-winning success, on Friday, August 14, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Grand Event Center in Grandview, OH.

Enjoy an evening of decadent desserts, drinks, and meaningful connections as we celebrate more than three decades of mentorship and philanthropy shaping the future of family medicine in Ohio. Together, we’ll recognize the individuals whose generosity and dedication continue to inspire future family physicians across Ohio.

Registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.

*Pricing reflects discounted registration. The remaining $200 is supported through the member-driven sponsorship program

Accommodations

The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) has negotiated a group room rate of $179 per room, per night at the Courtyard by Marriott located at 780 Yard St in Columbus, OH, for Friday, August 14. This discounted rate is available for a limited number of rooms (10 total) on a first-come, first-served basis. The group room rate expires when all the rooms are reserved or through Thursday, July 30, whichever comes first.

CME Accreditation

The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has reviewed the 2026 Family Medicine Celebration and deemed it acceptable for up to 3.75 Live AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from August 15, 2026, to August 15, 2026. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
