On Thursday, August 6, members have the opportunity to participate in a brief virtual business meeting; then join us on Saturday, August 15, for a one-day, in-person Family Medicine Celebration in Columbus, OH!
Virtual Membership Meeting
On Thursday, August 6, members can participate virtually to make their voices heard and contribute to the business decisions for the Academy.
- Election of Officers
- Discussion and approval of bylaws amendments
- Recommendations that require approval from the membership.
Family Medicine Celebration
On Saturday, August 15, the OAFP will bring the “family of family medicine” together at The Grand Event Center located at 820 Goodale Blvd in Columbus, OH, to reignite your passion for family medicine and inspire the next generation to choose family medicine and Ohio for their futures!

In an effort to promote family medicine in Ohio to all future family physicians, the OAFP will offer free Family Medicine Celebration registration to student and resident members through a member-driven sponsorship program. Learn more and help by sponsoring student and resident registrations today!
Accommodations
The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) has negotiated a group room rate of $179 per room, per night at the Courtyard by Marriott located at 780 Yard St in Columbus, OH, for Friday, August 14. This discounted rate is available for a limited number of rooms (10 total) on a first-come, first-served basis. The group room rate expires when all the rooms are reserved or through Friday, July 31, whichever comes first.

CME Accreditation
Application for CME credit will be filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
