The American Academy of Family Physicians’ (AAFP) National Conference is now FUTURE – a new name to capture the energy of our family medicine residents and medical students.

FUTURE is designed for residents and medical students to advance their knowledge, make connections, and learn what’s on the horizon for family medicine. Attendees can attend educational sessions, hear from nationally renowned speakers, participate in procedures and workshops, advance policy at their respective congresses, connect with residency programs and future employers, and most important of all – grow their passion for family medicine!

FUTURE will be held Thursday-Saturday, July 31 – August 1, in Kansas City, MO.

The OAFP Foundation will host a reception for Ohio medical students, residents, residency program faculty and staff, and presenters attending FUTURE to connect with each other while at the conference. Plan to join your fellow Ohioans for a casual evening of networking and fun! Food will be provided and a cash bar is available.
