Due to gathering restrictions related to COVID-19, the annual Ohio Academy of Family Physicians’ (OAFP) Family Medicine Celebration has been canceled. The OAFP leadership and staff share in members’ disappointment in this year’s loss of its annual source of dynamic continuing medical education programming and time to network with colleagues.
As an alternative, the OAFP will host the Annual Membership Meeting virtually on Sunday, August 9, at 7 p.m. Although we will miss seeing everyone in person, this virtual meeting will provide an opportunity for members to make their voice heard and participate in Academy business activities.
- Election and installation of officers
- Discussion and approval of bylaws amendments
- Recommendations that require approval from the membership.
Registration is open now, and is required by Noon on Sunday, August 9, to participate.
The OAFP Board of Directors and staff greatly appreciate the service and sacrifice of all who continue to display profound courage during the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to bringing the family of family medicine together again in 2021!
