Back by popular demand, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians in partnership with the Ohio Physicians Health Program (OPHP), will be offering a second year of Wellness Wednesdays interactive webinar sessions in 2018. Registration is now open but space is limited; visit the OAFP website to learn more.
Wellness Wednesdays is a structured, bi-monthly webinar series that is facilitated by a licensed professional clinical counselor from the OPHP, is offered for free to members, and is scheduled on a Wednesday over the typical lunch hour (12:15 – 1:00 p.m.). The purpose of the webinar series is to create a virtual neighborhood of positive physicians through virtual discussions that focus on spreading the joy of medicine.
Participants will start each session with a brief overview of the discussion topic and are then led through a practical exercise that helps participants learn through self-exploration and personal awareness. Participants will have the opportunity to share their own insight at the end of the 45-minute program and make connections with their peers who are also interested in wellness and professional satisfaction.
