In accordance with new American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) guidelines, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians will offer the new version of a self-assessment module (SAM), a knowledge self-assessment (KSA), at this year’s Members Assembly. Join us at the Columbus Marriott Northwest to earn Part II credit!
The topic of the Sunday, August 14, KSA is hypertension. By completing the KSA on site, you will earn 10 points under the new ABFM Maintenance of Certification for Family Physicians point system. Also, with the recent unhinging of the clinical simulation component from the knowledge assessment, you could earn an additional 5 points by completing the clinical self-assessment (CSA) portion.
By completing this live KSA, you will also earn eight (8) live continuing medical education credits from the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Sign up for the hypertension KSA when you register for the 2016 Members Assembly. ABFM fees apply and, as a reminder, you will need to bring your laptop in order to participate.
For more information regarding recent ABFM changes, view the ABFM’s winter 2016 issue of The Phoenix.
See you in August!
