The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians has nominated AuBree LaForce, medical student at the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), to serve as the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Student Delegate to the American Medical Association Student Section (AMA-MSS).
Ms. LaForce has been a member of the AAFP and the OAFP since 2017. Ms. LaForce gives her time, passion, and expertise to a variety of local and national organizations – most notably her work with the AAFP National Primary Care Leadership Collaborative as vice president and chair. Ms. LaForce has taken what she’s learned in the role to proactively facilitate system-wide change at her university through the Primary Care Leadership Collaborative (PCLC) at NEOMED.
Ms. LaForce recently served as the 2019 Ohio medical student delegate at the National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students in July and on the local level, she will serve as student trustee on the OAFP Foundation Board of Trustees through 2020.
