The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) is supporting the nomination of Mary Krebs, MD, FAAFP, for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) delegation to the American Medical Association (AMA).
Dr. Krebs is associate medical director of primary care for Cohere Health, where she is in charge of all primary care activities including value-based payment, decreasing administrative burden, and improving prior authorization.
Dr. Krebs is vice speaker of her state chapter Academy, a member of the OAFP Board of Directors, and a member of the OAFP Executive Committee. She has taken a leadership role in our chapter’s quality improvement initiatives and is a frequent continuing medical education presenter for our chapter and at the AAFP Family Medicine Experience (FMX). Her presentations are always highly evaluated and in demand.
Nationally, Dr. Krebs served as alternate delegate to the AMA CPT Editorial Panel. She regularly attends the AAFP Congress of Delegates having served as Member Constituencies Delegate to the 2015 Congress where she led the Member Constituencies caucus. She also led colleagues as AAFP National Conference of Constituency Leaders co-convener. In addition, Dr. Krebs successfully chaired the AAFP Commission on Quality and Practice, a large commission with diverse membership and a substantial workload. During her tenure on Quality and Practice, she served as co-convener of the AAFP Working Group on Rural Health. Dr. Krebs also chaired the AAFP Workgroup on Telehealth in 2020.
