The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) Early Intervention (EI) program supports families with children birth to age 3 who have developmental delays or disabilities so that they have the best possible start in life. EI professionals support a child’s family by identifying strengths, needs, and concerns as early as possible. EI services help address a child’s developmental delays where the child lives, plays, and spends their days. Making a referral is easy! Call 800.755.GROW or visit the DODD website.
The DODD offers online modules, approved for continuing medical education by the American Academy of Family Physicians, designed for physicians to learn how recognize and address developmental concerns in young children. For an overview of EI, visit the DODD website.
The DODD is a proud Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Partner in Health.
