The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response will present a one-hour webinar on the use of monoclonal antibodies to treat COVID-19 on Thursday, May 27, at 3 p.m.
Participants will include Sarah Coles, MD, chair of the AAFP Commission on Health of the Public and Science and an assistant professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix Family Medicine Residency, and Michael Anderson, MD, MBA, a senior advisor to ASPR on COVID-19 therapeutics.
The webinar will cover recent updates to use of these therapeutics, the data supporting NIH’s recommendation for use, and insight into the family physician perspective.
