Join the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) for a free, live webinar on Thursday, May 27, to dive into quality improvement (QI) project requirements with Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) Past President Ryan Kauffman, MD. During the webinar How and Why to Conduct a QI Project on Breast and Cervical Cancer, you will learn to analyze screening procedures, how to involve team members at all levels, intervention options, and the best ways to align your QI plans with the American Board of Family Medicine’s Practice Improvement requirement.
Participants will also learn about the mission and eligibility guidelines for the Ohio Department of Health’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Project (BCCP), which works to assist women in Ohio with accessing and navigating breast and cervical tissue cancer screenings. The BCCP’s Patient Navigation Program helps guide women through the healthcare system, find providers and community resources, and answer questions about scheduling appointments, using insurance, and more. To make these services available, BCCP partners with approximately 500 medical, clinical, and laboratory providers in Ohio.
