Ohio residents that are not yet registered have until 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, to register to be eligible to vote in the Tuesday, November 8, General Election. Ohio voters who are registered but have moved recently also need to update their new address by the same deadline.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- A resident of Ohio for at least 30 days before the election
- Registered to vote at least 30 days before the election
- At least 18-years-old on or before Tuesday, November 8.
Voters may also go online to register to vote with a valid Ohio driver’s license or to update an existing registration.
County boards of elections will be open Tuesday, October 11, for voters to register or to deliver their completed forms to the office. Registrations by mail are acceptable if they are postmarked by Tuesday, October 11.
Registration forms are available at county boards of elections and online. Forms may also be found at many government offices.
