How many times have you been faced with the dreaded task of working through a prior authorization? Let’s be honest, it’s pretty frustrating, right? Come to mention it, maybe there are quite a few tasks or scenarios you experience on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis that you wish could be adjusted.
What if we told you there’s a way to take that negative energy and put it into action that will yield positive results for you, your peers, your practice team, and your patients?!
That’s what the next Wellness Wednesdays session is all about! Set for Wednesday, October 16, from 12:15 – 1:00 p.m. EST, attendees will hear from Sarah Sams, MD, as she shares her personal story of turning frustrations into positive changes and wellness success!
Dr. Sams is currently the associate director at the Grant Family Medicine Residency Program in Columbus, OH, and serves as the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Delegate to the American Academy of Family Physicians Congress of Delegates. She also served as the chair of the OAFP’s Joy of Medicine Workgroup for three years and plays a vital role on the Public Policy Committee.
Joining Dr. Sams, OAFP Lobbyist David Paragas, JD, will share his experience working with the OAFP for over 20 years and the many issues brought to the forefront of the legislative process. Many of which have yielded positive results for family physicians in Ohio. He will share, in a case-based process, the work being done to improve physician well-being and reduce administrative burdens Ohio’s family physicians and provide insight into the steps each OAFP member can take to make a difference – whether in their own practice, community, or the state.
You have the power to make change—learn how to take the first step by registering today!
