On December 12, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians held its last session of the 2018 Wellness Wednesday series that focused participants on how to reframe perspective and harness the power of giving others the benefit of the doubt.
For those who were not able to join the session, the program was recorded and has been archived on the OAFP’s website. Provided in the archive, are several online articles that address how patients and physicians should give each other the benefit of the doubt and how to change perspective.
The Academy’s Wellness Wednesdays program is a structured, bi-monthly webinar series that focuses on enhancing professional and personal wellness. Creation of the series is the result of the OAFP’s Joy of Medicine Workgroup – a group of volunteer physicians tasked to champion the strategic objective of bringing back the joy to family medicine.
The 2019 Wellness Wednesdays series is currently in the planning stages, but is sure to continue the success of the series over the past two years. Stay tuned for featured topics and webinar dates!
Other resources for improving physician wellness and beating burnout are available through the OAFP website.
