Join the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) for a FREE, live webinar on Thursday, May 20, for an afternoon overview covering recommendations for breast cancer screening, how to identify high risk patients, and when to refer to a specialist.
Participants will also learn about the mission and eligibility guidelines of the Ohio Department of Health’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Project (BCCP), which is available to assist women in Ohio with accessing and navigating breast and cervical tissue cancer screenings.
The BCCP’s Patient Navigation Program helps guide women through the healthcare system, find providers and community resources, and answer questions about scheduling appointments, using insurance, and more. To make these services available, BCCP partners with approximately 500 medical, clinical, and laboratory providers in Ohio.
