The requirement to obtain a license as a terminal distributor with an office-based opioid treatment (OBOT) classification has been extended by the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy (SOBP) and now takes effect on Tuesday, October 31. The extension of the licensure deadline will allow the SOBP additional time to review and process license applications.

As a reminder, the OBOT application can be accessed on the SOBP’s website.
