This series provides an opportunity for Ohio’s family physicians and their practice teams to learn more about breast cancer and screening guidelines along with ODH’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Project (BCCP) program.
The first webinar, Breast and Cervical Cancer Guidelines for Screening and Survivorship – What They Mean for Your Patients, will be held on Tuesday, March 29, at 3 p.m. with speaker Kellie Rath, MD.
- Determine appropriate breast and cervical screening guidelines to apply to a patient
- Counsel a patient about breast and cervical cancer screening options and intervals
- Establish a survivorship plan for a patient who has had breast or cervical cancer
- Manage ongoing screening for breast and cervical cancer survivors.

The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has reviewed the Breast & Cervical Cancer CME Series and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from March 29, 2022, to April 12, 2022. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Each webinar is approved for 1 Online Only, Live Prescribed CME credit (for a total of 3 credits for the entire series).

The Breast and Cervical Cancer Project (BCCP) can assist qualified patients in Ohio in obtaining no-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic testing. To make these services available, BCCP partners with approximately 500 medical, clinical, and laboratory providers in Ohio.
The BCCP’s Patient Navigation Program helps guide women through the healthcare system, find providers and community resources, and answer questions about scheduling appointments, using insurance, and more.
