Prevent Blindness Ohio (PBO) recently released its spring 2016 schedule of preschool vision screening trainings. These trainings are free of charge, thanks to a grant from the Save Our Sight Fund.
Training sessions are appropriate for physicians and other health care professionals, child care/day care providers, school nurses, public health professionals, and community volunteers to attend. Upon successful completion of the training, each individual/organization is eligible to receive a free set of vision screening equipment (over a $500 value).
This spring, PBO is holding trainings in Cleveland, Columbus, Canton, Dayton, and Maumee, OH. Registration is limited to 15 individuals per training, and only two individuals per organization can register. Registration is online only. Once registered, the registrant will receive a confirmation email from PBO.
The trainings are five hours long and we encourage attendees to bring their own lunch, snack, and drink as no refreshments will be provided.
For more information, and to register, please visit the PBO website.
