The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) is excited to announce its newest Partner in Health, the Ohio Professionals Health Program, Inc. (OhioPHP).
The OhioPHP started as a group of physicians supporting their peers struggling with mental health or substance use disorders. Today, the OhioPHP assists hundreds of healthcare workers across the state with a wide range of concerns including stress, burnout, mental health, substance use disorders (SUD), and much more!
The OhioPHP has partnered with the State Medical Board of Ohio (SMBO) to administer the Confidential Monitoring Program (CMP). The CMP is a brand new program for licensees of the SMBO who may be struggling with mental health disorders, SUD, or other medical conditions. You can learn more about the CMP by watching this overview and viewing this flyer.
The OAFP’s Partners in Health Program is an online resource that contains links to organizations that provide patient education and high-value tools designed to support family physicians and their care teams in delivering optimal frontline care. The OAFP is excited to recognize CHI as a supporter that is making a commitment to family medicine in Ohio as its partner in health.
If you have questions about the OAFP’s Partners in Health Program, please contact Deputy Executive Vice President Kaitlin McGuffie or call 800.742.7327.
