Registration for the 2021 virtual Family Medicine Workshop is now open! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Family Medicine Workshop – historically a live event – will be held virtually in 2021.
Plan to join us Saturday-Sunday, January 16-17, 2021, and/or January 30-31, 2021, from the comfort of your home or office.
In addition to the two- and single-weekend course registration options, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) is now offering a one-day registration option for those only able to participate in a Saturday or Sunday learning session.
In keeping with tradition, the Family Medicine Workshop examines a broad spectrum of topics and concerns of clinical interest for primary care physicians. Attendees will hear four, 2-hour presentations per weekend and earn up-to 18 continuing medical education (CME) credits over both weekends. Whether you attend both courses, a single weekend course, or a one-day learning session, the Family Medicine Workshop is sure to provide a comprehensive review of the core curriculum of family medicine.
2021 Family Medicine Workshop topics include:
- Metabolic/Endocrine
- Renal
- HCV Treatment in the Family Medicine Clinic: A Case-Based Approach
- OB/GYN.
- Rheumatology
- Neurology
- Primary Care & COVID-19: The New Normal
- Behavioral Medicine.
Each session will have an expert presentation followed by a time for case discussion and Q&A with the presenters. The objective is to provide information on diagnostic techniques, advanced technical theory, current research, problem solving methods, and management techniques within the core content areas of family medicine.
