In the spring of 2022, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) hosted a series of three educational webinars for Ohio’s family physicians and their practice teams to learn more about breast and cervical cancer screening and care for patients. The recordings are now available on the OAFP website for enduring credit, at no cost as a benefit of membership!
This webinar series was produced in partnership with the Ohio Department of Health’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Project (BCCP), which works to assist qualified patients in Ohio in obtaining no-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic testing. In addition, the BCCP’s Patient Navigation Program helps guide women through the healthcare system, find providers and community resources, and answer questions about scheduling appointments, using insurance, and more, regardless of eligibility. To make these services available, the BCCP partners with approximately 500 medical, clinical, and laboratory providers in Ohio.
