Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Executive Vice President Ann Spicer will serve on the Health Policy Institute of Ohio (HPIO) Addiction Evidence Project Advisory Group phase four, which is focused on children services. This group will meet to provide guidance on an evidence resource page and a policy scorecard that highlight the strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in Ohio’s policy response to the addiction crisis within the child welfare system.
Ms. Spicer will also serve on an Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Advisory Group convened by HPIO, which will advise on a series of reports related to the impact of ACEs on Ohioans and strategies to prevent, screen and treat for ACEs exposure.
The first meeting of the Addiction Evidence Project Advisory Group for phase 4 of the project will be in Columbus on Monday, March 2.
