In anticipation of the upcoming holiday weekend, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) would like to share information about vaccine delivery schedules for orders shipped directly from vaccine manufacturers/distributors on Good Friday (Friday, April 15), and Easter Monday (Monday, April 18).
COVID-19 vaccine deliveries for the Pfizer vaccine will continue as normal for the upcoming Good Friday/Easter holiday. Physicians and other health care providers should expect to receive the Pfizer vaccine on Friday and Monday.
Moderna and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine deliveries will occur on Friday, April 15; however, there will be no Moderna or Janssen (J&J) vaccine delivered on Monday, April 18.
Recently submitted COVID-19 vaccine orders may be processed for shipping and delivery over the holiday. Physicians and other health care providers should monitor email for messages containing delivery updates, and check your recently submitted order status daily in the Vaccine Ordering Management System (VOMS) through the Impact Statewide Immunization Information System (ImpactSIIS). If you are expecting a shipment, please ensure staff members are available to receive and properly store the vaccine.
Physicians and other health care providers seeking to place new orders can do so through VOMS 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If you have any questions or issues, please call the ODH Provider Call Center between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at 1.844.9ODHVAX (1.844.963-4829) or email COVIDVACCINE@odh.ohio.gov.
