In the fall of 2022, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) partnered with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and the Ohio Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics to offer a Lead-Free Ohio training webinar.
The webinar, Lead Poisoning: An Ongoing Public Health Crisis, is available below and on the OAFP website for enduring continuing medical education credit.
- Understand what lead is and the effects of lead on children in Ohio
- Identify the cases within your practice where primary prevention has failed for treatment and intervention
- Develop a workflow at your practice to improve lead screening and testing rates.
To receive CME credit after completing the webinar, please complete the evaluation, report your credit to the AAFP, and print the CME certificate for your records.
Please contact Director of Education Erin Jech with questions.
