On Thursday, March 12, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians is hosting an American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) Family Medicine Certification Knowledge Self-Assessment (KSA) on Asthma in the afternoon as part of its CME Roadshow & KSA – Canton at Gervasi Vinyard in Canton, OH.
If you need to complete this component of your Family Medicine Certification, then this program is for you! Participants will work with an expert moderator to complete the KSA in a group setting. Physicians that participate in this session will receive 10 points towards their certification requirements as well as 8 live Prescribed CME credits from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
- Discuss the purpose of certification and its impact on patient care
- Understand the stages in the certification process and activities within each
- Discuss the differences between the Family Medicine Certification Longitudinal Assessment and the one-day exam
- Understand individual’s Physician Portfolio navigation
- Describe the importance of integrating activities into the work already being done in practice that impact patient care
- Receive one-on-one assistance in mapping out their certification requirements in order to have the most positive impact on patient care possible.
