During last week’s National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students in Kansas City, MO, Ohio Academy of Family Physicians member Anna Askari, a fourth year medical student at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, was elected as student alternate delegate to the American Academy of Family Physicians Congress of Delegates (COD). The 2017 AAFP COD will be held Monday-Wednesday, September 11-13. in San Antonio, TX. Anna will also be a student delegate to the 2018 AAFP COD.
Anna is alternate student representative on the OAFP Board of Directors. Anna also serves as an AAFP medical student delegate to the American Medical Association and was recently featured in an AAFP News article on physician well-being and burnout.
