You are invited to attend the webinar Self Care in the Helping Professions: Trauma-Informed Care for Front-line Caregivers on Tuesday, May 28, from 12:15-1 p.m.
- Define secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout.
- Describe symptoms of stress in the professional’s work environment, along with the impact stress can have on physical/mental health and on personal and professional relationships.
- Describe how the professional can build a “toolbox of care” and use best practices to manage daily, seasonal, and acute episodic stress.
This webinar is part of a series of quarterly patient engagement webinars hosted by the Ohio Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative Center for Provider and Patient Engagement in partnership with Health Services Advisory Group. The webinar will begin with a half-hour presentation at 12:15 p.m. and will conclude with a 15-minute Q&A session.
