Thanks to all who responded to the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians’ (OAFP) spring member value survey.
- More family medicine-focused Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit opportunities that are closer to home (not just Columbus-based)
- Additional activities that help you navigate and maintain your American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) board certification
- Strong legislative and regulatory advocacy on behalf of you, your patients, and family medicine.
After analyzing and digesting the survey results, the OAFP Board of Directors held a retreat to begin the process of creating exciting new programming that aligns with what you told us you want and need. In the works for 2020 are new programs that will provide high quality CME, help you meet ABFM requirements, and will be offered in locations around the state so it is easier for you to attend and take part. We will also be offering training on procedures and providing opportunities for you to advocate with state legislators from your area, in your area.
Watch for promotions coming in the fall for new programs that align with your ever-changing needs!
