The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians completed a virtual American Board of Family Medicine-endorsed Family Medicine Certification knowledge self-assessment (KSA) group study (formerly known as a SAM) on hospital medicine on October 30.
A big thank you to the Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin chapters of the American Academy of Family Physicians for partnering with us on this unique program – it was a success!
With 65 physician learners, this cutting-edge program brought the issues of hospital medicine directly into the physician’s home or office with guidance from peer expert, Anna Squibb, MD.
One participant wrote, “I have participated in about six of these sessions and I would rate Dr. Squibb as the best speaker I have heard. She obviously has a good knowledge basis to start with and had done her homework!”
Melissa Jefferis, MD, moderated the session allowing attendees to offer input and ask questions when needed.
“The moderator did a very good job of moving us through the process. She was very organized,” stated another participant.
“Overall,” one participant shared, “Everyone did great! I liked this format.”
Thank you to all who participated!
