The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced a change to the minimum order quantity options for direct-shipped Pfizer vaccine.
- The option to place a direct shipment order of 1,170 doses of Pfizer vaccine is currently unavailable.
- The minimum number of doses that vaccine providers can now order for direct shipment from Pfizer is 450 doses. The vaccine is available in increments of 450 doses.
- The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) continues to offer repackaged Pfizer vaccine in smaller increments. Pfizer remains available for ordering in increments of 30 doses shipped from ODH’s Receipt, Store, and Stage warehouse.
ODH has updated the Pfizer Order Set in the Vaccine Ordering Management System. When placing your order for direct-shipped vaccine, providers will need to select the dropdown menu and choose the proper ordering option: adult or pediatric.
If you have any additional questions, please call the ODH Provider Call Center between 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday – Friday, at 1.844.963.4829 or email COVIDVACCINE@odh.ohio.gov.
