A new, upcoming collaboration between the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP), the American Academy of Family Physicians, and Project N95 will help family physicians secure personal protective equipment (PPE)—even in hard-to-find small quantities—during a limited-time opportunity beginning Monday, August 24, through Wednesday, September 2.
All OAFP members, including students and residents, will be able to purchase items such as N95 masks, gowns, and face shields. Orders must be shipped within the United States.
This collaboration with the not-for-profit organization Project N95 is part of the AAFP’s ongoing work to empower family physicians to continue their work as the foundation of America’s health care system during the COVID-19 pandemic. Helping family physicians secure PPE has been a crucial part of the AAFP’s government and private-sector advocacy from the beginning of the pandemic.
Look for an email from the AAFP and the OAFP on Monday, August 24, with a link to this members-only opportunity.
