Each year, the American Academy of Family Physicians offers scholarships to two students and two residents who wish to attend the Family Medicine Advocacy Summit (FMAS) to introduce them to best practices for effective advocacy and briefings on the political issues that impact the delivery of family medicine.
This year’s conference will be held Monday-Tuesday, May 20-21, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Washington, DC, and is being conducted again in partnership with the Council of Academic Family Medicine.
Ohio Academy of Family Physicians student and resident members are encouraged to apply! And if you know an outstanding student or family medicine resident, please encourage them to apply or circulate the application within your networks to let other know of this opportunity.
