The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) is accepting articles for its summer 2026 issue of The Ohio Family Physician (TOFP), a quarterly magazine with a print and digital distribution of more than 8,000 family physicians, family medicine residents, and medical student members in Ohio.
- Certification, credentials, and fellowships
- Quality improvement
- Career development for family physicians
- Physician mentorship
- Supplemental education
- Physician leadership.
Each article should provide credible sources/references to ensure an evidence-based publication.
If you or someone you know is interested in having an article published, please contact Lauren Heberling, director of communications, no later than Monday, March 23, with an intended article topic.
Once a topic has been approved, Lauren will provide an Author Information Form that is to be completed and returned, along with a final article copy and references, no later than Friday, April 3.
Please review the Author Guidelines for details on the accepted article types, eligibility criteria, and contribution guidelines. Space is limited and articles will be accepted at the discretion of the editorial team.
