The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) is accepting articles for its fall 2026 issue of The Ohio Family Physician (TOFP), a quarterly magazine with a print and digital distribution of more than 8,000 family physicians, family medicine residents, and medical student members in Ohio.
- Medical student experiences in family medicine
- Engagement in advocacy during training
- Finding your “why”
- Research and scholarship
- Building leadership skills in medical school and residency.
Please note that each article should provide credible sources/references to ensure an evidence-based publication.
If you or someone you know is interested in having an article published, please contact Lauren Heberling, director of communications, no later than Monday, June 22, with an intended article topic.
Once a topic has been approved, Lauren will provide an Author Information Form that is to be completed and returned, along with a final article copy and references, no later than Thursday, July 2.
