The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians, in partnership with the Maryland, Missouri, and Wisconsin chapters of the American Academy of Family Physicians, is excited to announce a virtual, American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)-endorsed Family Medicine Certification knowledge self-assessment (KSA) group study focused on diabetes. This KSA module has been updated and is now a 60-question, single-answer assessment! Mark your calendar and register now for this opportunity on Sunday, December 12, beginning at 5:30 p.m. EST! This program is limited to the first 55 members who register and typically takes four hours to complete.
This innovative program will use a robust web-based system that will allow family physician learners from across the country the opportunity to complete a KSA while engaging their peers and an expert content leader from a location of their choosing.
Completion of this KSA will provide participants with 10 certification points towards their ABFM certification requirement. In addition, these activities are reviewed and approved for up to 8 live Prescribed continuing medical education credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
For members, the cost to attend is $85 (ABFM fees still apply). The deadline to register is Wednesday, December 1. Participation is open to the first 55 registrants. Any registrants after the first 55 will be placed on a waiting list. The overall virtual KSA attendance will not exceed 150 participants.
