Family physicians and their care teams can take part in a quality improvement (QI) project through the Regional Colleges of Medicine QI Hub initiative.
The Regional Colleges of Medicine QI Hub was established to advance wellness and health outcomes. The Ohio Department of Medicaid, in collaboration with academic leaders, healthcare professionals, and payers, established a QI infrastructure to achieve population-level health improvements in hypertension and diabetes. Performance measures tracked by QI Hubs are aligned with major payer incentives and fulfill requirements for internal QI activities.
