The American Academy of Family Physicians is asking members who live in the following Congressional districts to call their Member of Congress to urge a no vote on the American Health Care Act (AHCA).
While AAFP has attempted to work through Congress to address concerns, the bill going to the House floor is not acceptable. The AAFP is concerned that the legislation would have a negative impact on individuals and families, destabilize insurance markets, and inflict significant harm on the Medicaid program.
Provided is a phone number for each targeted Member of Congress as well as the number of Ohioans in each Congressional district who will lose health care coverage by 2026.

In addition to making a call, we also urge you to send an email message through the AAFP’s Speak Out website.
The AAFP opposes the AHCA that will be voted on by the U.S. House of Representatives most likely on Thursday, March 23. We will continue our efforts to influence and change this legislation moving forward, therefore our opposition is in response to the current version of the AHCA – not reform in general.
Thank you for your advocacy efforts!
