On May 11, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians received the following notice from the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy (SOBP) regarding earlier announced changes to the terminal distributor of dangerous drugs (TDDD) licensure and compounding rules.
“Due to recent feedback regarding the prescriber compounding rules, the SOBP staff is advising previously exempt prescriber practices to refrain from application to the SOBP as a TDDD until after the SOBP’s June 2016 meeting. As a result, rule changes will not apply to these prescriber practices. Please view the on this issue.
