Opioid Abuse is a serious national crisis that affects public health as well as social and economic welfare.
As part of the Health Services Advisory Group’s Special Innovation Project focused on addressing opioid misuse using innovative interventions, Premier Health in Dayton, OH, is hosting “Opioid Addicted Patients: Dignity in Treatment” on Wednesday, June 19, from 6-8 p.m. at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
John Sorboro, MD, will discuss withdraw and tapering for the opioid addicted patient.

- Review of best practices in patient monitoring when prescribing opioids for chronic pain
- Review of best practices for safe opioid tapering for patients prescribed opioids for chronic pain
