You are invited to an Open Forum Discussion on how to optimize the Management of Asthma through improved use of evidence‑based disease management recommendations and a discussion of practical strategies to implement guideline-directed anti-inflammatory rescue (AIR) therapy.
Date and Time: Thursday, October 22, from 6-8 p.m.
Location: Southernaire Market, 150 3rd Ave. South, Nashville, TN 37203
R.S.V.P.: by Friday, September 18, by completing the AstraZeneca Asthma Roundtable Dinner during the American Academy of Family Physicians FMX form. Seating is limited. Please R.S.V.P. as soon as possible and only if you are certain you can attend.
The objective of the open forum program is to provide a venue for a discussion of best practices for implementation of ideas and sharing successful outcomes amongst primary care clinicians. This is not intended to be didactic, but to allow for a free-flowing discussion of ideas/views.
The focus of the best practice conversation will be to identify and help address gaps to providing evidence‑based disease management recommendations through best practice sharing and discuss solutions, including how to identify at‑risk patients with asthma.
