On Saturday, March 3, at the Columbus Hilton at Easton, the Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Association (OPPA) will be hosting a 4-hour workshop (1–5 p.m.) entitled: Applying the Integrated Care Approach: Practical Skills for the Consulting Psychiatrist and Evidenced-Based Mental Health Delivery in Primary Care Settings. The workshop is approved for 4 hours of Category 1 continuing medical education credit.

The workshop is being led by Lori Raney, MD, a leading authority on the collaborative care model and the bidirectional integration of primary care and behavioral health. Dr. Raney helped develop a curriculum to teach integrated care to psychiatrists and primary care physicians and chairs the American Psychiatric Association’s Workgroup on Integrated Care.
