The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians will receive an American Academy of Family Physicians Leadership in State Government Advocacy Award during the AAFP State Legislative Conference in Dallas, TX, in early November. The award recognizes our advocacy in behalf of the Toledo Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program and retaining its family medicine residency slots in the Toledo community.
Drs. Sarah Sams and Mark McLoney are representing the OAFP at the conference and will accept the award on behalf of the Ohio chapter.
A record number of chapters applied to receive the award this year.
