Join chief residents from around Ohio on Saturday, May 16, for the Chief Resident Workshop at the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers (OACHC) in Columbus, OH.
Although the American Academy of Family Physicians unfortunately had to cancel their Chief Resident Leadership Development Program for this year, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians is moving forward with this program offering.
This workshop is currently planned to be held in-person, but will be changed to a virtual format if necessary. Additional information and registration can be found on the OAFP website.
The Chief Resident Workshop, designed to equip new chief residents with the leadership tools needed to have a successful academic year, is one of the OAFP’s most highly regarded programs. This program establishes an OAFP Chief Resident Network so that participants can open a peer dialogue to optimize discussion and serve as a touchstone the whole year through. Discussion topics have included Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education work hour regulations, ways to reduce personal stress, techniques to resolve conflicts, and innovative methods to motivate others.
We hope to see you there!
