  1. Dusty was many things…father, husband, family doc, sports medicine expert, but is best remembered by me as a teacher. He looked for every opportunity to help his patients, students, and fellow faculty understand any topic that was challenging them at the time, and made it fun to learn! He showed great courage in leaving general practice for residency and then fellowship training, and it was the right decision for him. He will be missed by anyone who knew him for his smile, encouragement, optimism, caring bedside manner, and commitment to others.

  2. A great loss to all. I will always remember Dusty as a true professional and a most caring human being. It was a pleasure to work with and talk with him.
My deepest condolences to Terrie and family.

  3. I am extremely sorry to hear of the passing of Dusty Rhodes . Dusty was a kind human being who was liked by all who had the opportunity to meet him. Accomplished physician that enjoyed what he did and it showed in his dedication to his profession. I enjoyed the time I did spend with him in practice at Wright State and Miami Valley Hospital. He will be missed .

  4. Dr. Rhodes was one of my teachers as a resident. He was always patient, kind, generous, funny, positive, and an all round amazing person. I am grateful to have met him, learned from him, and to have been able to briefly share some life with him. I pray his family will heal in time from his loss. Though his love and infectious good spirit will live on in all of the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. In using one of his personal favorite sayings, Dusty Rhodes was the ” Cats Meow.”

    With love, Autumn Conde
