The OAFP Foundation is pleased to auction-off this one-of-a-kind, handmade wood pen. Please place your bids now through 5 p.m. on Friday, March 31.
The pen, donated by Gerry Stover, executive vice president of the Kentucky Academy of Family Physicians and the West Virginia Academy of Family Physicians (pictured to the left), is made of myrtlewood, which is native to Oregon. This particular piece is made from a tree with wormholes in Kentucky. The wood is naturally a light brown and Mr. Stover added brown and red dyes.
