Opioid use disorder (OUD) is skyrocketing—and with that, resulting overdose mortality rates show no signs of slowing down.
Opioid Use Disorder Livestream, set for Tuesday-Wednesday, May 25-26, is a new course from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) designed to help you help patients through this complex public health crisis.
- Toxicology interpretation
- Using telemedicine for OUD treatment
- Trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing
- Medications for opioid use disorder
- Working with other care providers.
The faculty—all family physicians—have treated patients from a range of demographic, socioeconomic, and geographic backgrounds. You’ll get the same in-person interactive experience of a live course through didactic presentations and case-based discussions with your fellow attendees.
Registration for this Livestream course includes Free SAMHSA DATA Waiver Training on Monday, May 24. DATA Waiver training is strongly recommended before taking this course.
Register by May 14 and save up to $100. Physicians in their first seven years of practice can save up to $150.
