The OAFP Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of applications for scholarships to represent Ohio family medicine residents and medical students at the 2018 National Congress held in conjunction with the National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students in Kansas City, MO, Thursday-Saturday, August 2-4.
The resident and student congresses serve as the official voices of residents and students within the American Academy of Family Physicians. Through these forums, resident and student members elect their national officers, advocate for a wide variety of issues and causes, and receive valuable leadership training. Many initiatives launched by residents and students are now AAFP policy. A great deal of family medicine leaders got their start in the resident and student congresses.
The OAFP Foundation offers scholarships up to $1,200 in eligible expenses, paid according to the reimbursement policy, for the selected delegate and alternate delegate.
- A completed student or resident application
