On Wednesday, May 2, the Miami Valley Academy of Family Physicians (MVAFP) will host its 24th annual continuing medical education (CME) program at the Sinclair Community College Conference Center in downtown Dayton, OH.
In addition to the MVAFP luncheon and meeting, lectures will include:
- Diabetes Update
- Immunization Update
- Eating Disorders
- Top 10 Pediatric Diagnoses not to Miss
- Current Community Health Issues
- Grief in Children
- Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT)
- Physician Burnout
- Commonly Missed Sports Injuries.
Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast followed by programming from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost to attend the event is $100 for American Academy of Family Physicians physician members; $110 for non-member physicians; $60 for non-physicians (physician assistants and nurses); and FREE for medical students and family medicine residents.
