Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) medical student member Nidha Kahn, MPH, has been named student representative to the American Academy of Family Physicians Commission on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness in Family Medicine. Nidha’s term of service began on March 23 and ends on Monday, December 14, 2026.
Nidha, a student at the Ohio Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Cleveland campus in Beachwood, OH, serves as an alternate student trustee on the OAFP Foundation Board of Trustees and participated in the OAFP Foundation Leroy A. Rodgers, MD, Preceptorship Program.
Nidha earned her masters of public health degree in environmental health studies as well as her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina. Prior to beginning medical school, she served an associate director of the perinatal data center at the March of Dimes national office in Arlington, VA, where she worked to improve maternal and child health outcomes.
